Andy Cook Named Top Family Lawyer
The Los Angeles Daily Journal has selected Andy Cook as a “Top Family” lawyer for 2022. In a supplement to today’s edition of the newspaper, The Daily Journal chose Cook and 20 other California family law attorneys for recognition. This is the first time that the Daily Journal has published a family law supplement, although it has published supplements for the top lawyers in other fields in the past.
Cook has been in practice in San Diego for over 27 years. He has had his own practice, which handles only family law matters, for over 26 years. Cook has been certified as a Family Law Specialist by the State Bar of California, Board of Legal Specialization, for over 19 years.
Assisting Cook in his practice, which is located in the Bankers Hill neighborhood of San Diego, are associate attorney Kevin A. Alexander II and paralegal Charlene Baaske.
Cook is a graduate of California Western School of Law in San Diego.
Cook lived in Mendham Twp. in northern New Jersey from the age of eight until he headed off to college at the University of Vermont. His family had lived in the Bronx and then White Plains, N.Y. before making the move to the Garden State.
Cook earned a B.A. in history from Vermont and then spent six years working full-time in radio before heading west to San Diego nearly 32 years ago.
